Nettle leaf is anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive, and has been shown to increase milk supply and support the reproductive organs. Raspberry leaf provides digestive support, high vitamin content (A, C, E, iron, calcium, and potassium), and tones and relaxes the pelvic and uterine muscles. Chamomile helps with anxiety, sleep, mood stabilization (natural antidepressant), and is neuroprotective (protects nerve cells from damage, degeneration, or impairment of function). Milky oats soothe, strengthen, and restore the nervous system. They are high in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. They also soothe the nervous, endocrine, and digestive systems. Rosehips are high in polyphenols, vitamins C, E, B, and antioxidants. The vitamin content in rosehips supports the immune system, digestion, and nurtures the skin. They are one of the highest bioavailable sources of vitamin C.

Our herbal bath is an updated recreation of the traditional herbal sitz bath. Our bath can be decocted or poured directly into the bathwater, depending on the desired potency of your soak. The Ebi bath contains herbs that work together to aid in the repair, toning, and cleansing of the perineal tissues following birth. Comfrey aids in healing by moisturizing and soothing the skin, it also reduces inflammation. Yarrow and Shepherd's Purse are antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, astringent, and antiseptic. Rose petals are astringent, aromatic, and can calm and relax the nervous system. Soaking in sea salt has been shown to help with peaceful sleep due to it's magnesium content. Burdock root is a detoxifier, contains anti-oxidants, and improves circulation.

Instructions:

Add ¼ cup directly or decoct for at least 30 minutes into a quart of boiling water. Let cool. For use in shallow or soaking baths.

Note: Decoction allows for a more potent concentration of the plant constituents and stronger herbal action as a result. To decoct, bring water to a boil, place the plant material in the water, remove from heat and let infuse for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Strain and pour liquid into bath.
